Guests continue to enjoy our delicious breakfasts...served on the breezy wrap-around porch in summer and in the cozy dining room in the cooler months. On particularly cool mornings, the fireplaces in the dining room and parlor will keep you extra toasty!
We pride ourselves in our approach to preparing your breakfast. Whole food cooking is our aim. Using fresh locally grown produce, rosemary and basil from our garden and other "slow food" ingredients, we are not proponents of canned or pre-cooked items.
We prepare alternating items each day (sweet, savory, then sweet) so there is always an opportunity to showcase our fresh ingredients. The most important ingredient is care, and our breakfasts are both balanced and beautiful. We are also happy to accommodate special diets... deliciously and creatively!
In Cape May, innkeepers often share recipes and ideas. If there is a recipe you would like to have, just let us know! In the meantime, we will be busy planning menus and writing a cookbook of our breakfast recipes. But we don't stop at breakfast...

Our afternoon refreshments served to you in the foyer each day at three o'clock, are freshly baked and mouth-watering too! Don't miss Carrie's amazing brownies, Kristen’s famous Apricot Nut Bars or chocolate chip cookies. And then there are Andy's famous...words of encouragement. We count on him to personally test all of the goodies that come out of the kitchen!
