The Victorian Lace Inn is a wonderful choice for guests looking for a weekend getaway or a week-long retreat at a Cape May B&B. The Inn, located just one short block from the beach, is a perfect home base for discovering all of the charms of Cape May New Jersey. The Inn has been a tradition for so many family vacations, romantic and girlfriends getaways...our accommodations are also very popular for Cape May weddings and honeymoons!
The style of our inn is casual, and so is the atmosphere. We provide many amenities to make your stay worry-free and your experience of Cape May memorable. Our award-winning Cape May Day Spa, offers a full range of spa services and treatments, and special Romantic and Girls Getaway Packages to help you relax even more! Picturesque and peaceful, Cape May is known for many things...it's "The Resort for All Seasons," and one of few places in the country where the entire city has been designated as a National Historic Landmark. Just recently, Forbes Traveler named Cape May as one of the "20 Prettiest Towns in America." That our beaches have also been named in a number of "Top 10" lists is not surprising either!
Cape May events like the Cape May Music Festival, Cape May Jazz Festival, and year-round theater with Cape May Stage and the East Lynne Theater Company. Victorian Lace Inn offers fishing excursions and boating, whale-watching, parasailing, golf and tennis and we're happy to make these arrangements for you. And if you're looking for tours, museums, events and activities, the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts offers endless activities for enjoying Cape May. A carriage ride throughout the Cape May historic district is also a wonderful way to enjoy the sites and learn a little history! One of the interesting facts that visitors may not know about Victorian Cape May, is that unlike beach towns to our north, Cape May was once part of the mainland before the canal was dug in 1942. That means our island is primarily of soil. You can walk off the Cape May beaches right into town and enjoy the lush gardens and walk in the shade of 300 year-old sycamores tree-lined streets.
You will find so much to do in Cape May, whether just strolling our hamlet, riding bikes around the island, kayaking in the back bays, or heading off-island to explore places like Leamings Run Gardens, the (fabulous) Cape May County Zoo or take the Cape May-Lewes Ferry across the bay to shop at the tax-free outlets in Delaware. Whatever your plans, whatever you're seeking, it's probably right here in Cape May. We invite you to visit our extraordinary island and stay at the Victorian Lace Inn in one of our comfortable suites, condos or cozy cottage. Please take a moment to view our accommodations and visit our photo gallery to see the many unique architectural features of our inn and property!
